On the basis of user preferences, the cookies are stored from a single browser onto the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone). Similar technologies, such as web beacons, trasparent GIFs and all forms of local storage introduced with HTML5, are used to collect information on user behavior and on the use of the services. Hereafter the term “cookie” will be used to refer to cookies and all similar technologies.

Duration of cookies
Some cookies (session cookies) remain active until the browser is closed or until the execution of the logout command. Other cookies “survive” the closure of the browser and remain available even after the next visits of the user. These cookies are called persistent cookies and their duration is set by the server at the time of their creation. In some cases a deadline is set, in other cases the duration is unlimited. teapiu.com does not use persistent cookies..
Manage cookies
The user can decide whether or not to accept cookies by settings the browser options installed on his browser. Attention: total or partial disabling of technical cookies may affect the use some website functions that are reserved to registered users. On the contrary, public contents can be used even by disabling the cookies completely.
The disabling of “third party” cookies does not in any way compromise navigation in any way. The setting can be defined specifically for different websites and web applications. Furthermore, the best browsers allow the user to define different settings for “first-party” and for “third party” cookies. For example, the Firefox Tools->Options ->Privacy menu, gives access to a control panel where the user can accept or reject the different types of cookies and remove them
